西暦の英語での読み方
西暦は「2桁ずつ区切って読む」のが基本です。年を選ぶと発音・例文付きの個別ページが開きます。

読み方のルール
- 基本は2桁ずつ: 1998 → 19 / 98 → nineteen ninety-eight
- 2000年 = two thousand、2001〜2009年 = two thousand one 〜 two thousand nine
- 2010年以降は twenty ten 形式が主流(two thousand ten も可)
- 下2桁が01〜09の年は oh を使う: 1905 = nineteen oh five
- ちょうど00の年は hundred: 1600 = sixteen hundred
